To expand individual courses in Jewish special education and to expand courses for special needs teenagers that will serve as “laboratory” sites for graduate students in Gratz’s MA in Jewish Education program.

Today, Gratz college is home to the Jewish Community High school Special Needs Program, which is a “a national leader among supplementary Hebrew high schools in providing Jewish education for teenagers and young adults with special needs.” The program is run by Assistant Director, Dr. Mimi Ferraro, who earned a doctorate in Jewish Education at Gratz College focusing on special needs and Jewish education.
